Can you help us for an hour once a week?

We are looking for a volunteer to pick up our meals from the ferry (Coochie end) and deliver to around 5 clients on the island every Tuesday.

The meals are packed in an esky and loaded at the Victoria Point end – you then just pick up and deliver.
If this is something you’d be interested in, either by yourself or with a friend, we’d love to hear from you.

Wishing everyone a Merry Christmas and a safe, happy New Year!
The Victoria Point Meals on Wheels kitchen is now closed for the festive season and will return to cooking and delivering meals on Monday 5th January.
From the team Lori, Nav, Mikayla & Aidan; we would like to extend a very special thank you to all our incredible volunteers throughout 2025. Thanks to your dedication and support, we were able to deliver over 41,000 menu items to 404 individual clients across the year.
We truly couldn’t do it without you ❤️

National Carers Week – 12–18 October 2025

Caring is everywhere. Carers are our neighbours, friends, and workmates, often quietly providing vital support every day. Many don’t even realise they are Carers, seeing what they do as simply part of being a partner, parent, child or friend.

This year’s theme reminds us that caring touches every life, you may already be a Carer, you likely know one, and chances are you’ll be one at some point in your life.

👑 Public Holiday Notice – King’s Birthday 👑
Please note that we will be closed this Monday, 6th October for the King’s Birthday public holiday.
All clients who normally receive meals on Mondays have already been contacted, with extra meals delivered this week or deliveries rescheduled for when we are back on the road.🚗
If you are unsure or require additional meals, please reach out to make arrangements for delivery tomorrow.
