Call 132 500 for the NSW State Emergency Service (SES) if you need emergency help during a flood, storm, or tsunami.
If you are experiencing a life-threatening emergency, always call 000 (Triple Zero) first.
Call the SES for:
Structural damage: Significant roof or ceiling damage due to storms or fallen trees.
Blocked access: Fallen trees or branches blocking your driveway, entry, or the road.Severe flooding:
Your property is flooded, or rising waters are threatening your home.
Emergency repairs: Temporary fixes (like tarps) to prevent further water damage.
Please NOT call the SES for:
Life-threatening emergencies: Dial 000 instead.
General maintenance: Fallen trees that haven’t caused damage or aren’t blocking entry.
Routine cleanup: Clearing debris, green waste, or cleaning up after the storm passes.
Power outages: Contact your local energy provider instead.Reach out to them as soon as you have an issue so they can triage and prioritize jobs.
