Our Student Leaders have organised a Pyjama Day for tomorrow. Students who wish to participate are asked to bring a gold coin donation where all money raised will go towards improving the school's learning environment. Students are required to wear their usual school shoes.

Over the next few weeks we would like to promote our School Board Members, beginning with our School Board Chair Mr Damien Blason...

My name is Damien Blason I have served on the Waikiki Primary School Board for the past two years and currently hold the role of Chairperson.

As a community member, I value the opportunity to contribute to the school and support its continued growth and success. With more than 30 years of experience as a sales professional, I bring strong commercial acumen combined with a genuine people-focused approach and understanding of the importance of relationships and collaboration.

I initially joined the School Board after being approached by parents within the school community. During COVID, I also had the opportunity to get to know the Administration Team and saw first hand the dedication and commitment they showed to students and families. This encouraged me to become involved and contribute in a meaningful way.

I believe the School Board plays a vital role in providing strong leadership and governance, while also helping to strategically plan for the future of the school. One of my key priorities is supporting Waikiki Primary School in becoming a destination school that families actively choose for their children.

I hope to contribute to the future of the school by supporting all stakeholders and working together to create the best possible outcomes for students.
