🚒 WE WANT YOU! JOIN WAMBERAL RURAL FIRE BRIGADE 🚒
Are you looking to give back to your local community? Whether you’re 16 or a little grey in the ears, there’s a place for you at Wamberal Rural Fire Brigade.
We’re currently recruiting new volunteers from the Wamberal, Terrigal, Tumbi Umbi, Forresters Beach, Bateau bay and surrounding areas.
Our members range in age from 16 through to their mid-70s, proving that volunteering with the NSW Rural Fire Service isn’t just for the young. Whether you’re a student, working full-time, retired, or somewhere in between, your skills, experience and time can make a real difference.
As a volunteer you’ll:
🔥 Help protect your local community
🚒 Learn valuable firefighting and emergency response skills
🤝 Build lifelong friendships and be part of a supportive team
📚 Receive nationally recognised training
🌏 Get out of your comfort zone and experience some new challenges
No experience is necessary. Full training and ongoing support are provided. No need to have firefighting experience—we’re looking for people with a willingness to learn and a desire to serve their community
There are many ways to contribute, both on and off the fireground. Every role is important, and every volunteer makes a difference.
🚒 Your community needs volunteers. Could you be one of them?
The NSW Rural Fire Service (NSW RFS) is the world’s largest volunteer fire service, made up of more than 70,000 dedicated volunteers right across NSW.
