Part-Time Grounds & Maintenance Officer – Naroo Aged Care Hostel

Naroo is looking for a hands-on, reliable part-time Maintenance and Grounds Officer to join our team 3 days per week.
This isn't just a maintenance job — it's a role where your work directly brightens the days of our residents, families, and staff.
About the Role
As our part-time Maintenance and Grounds Officer, you'll be responsible for keeping Naroo's buildings, equipment, and grounds safe, functional, and beautiful. One day you might be repairing furniture or fittings, the next you'll be creating a garden space our residents can safely enjoy. You'll work closely with the Aged Services Manager and play a genuine role in supporting our residents' quality of life.
What We're Looking For
A practical, can-do attitude with solid all-round maintenance and repair skills
Genuine care for older people and a commitment to creating a warm, safe environment
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Good attention to detail, especially when it comes to safety documentation
A green thumb (or a willingness to develop one!) for garden upkeep
Alignment with Naroo's values and a positive, community-minded approach.
