From Tuesday 16 June through to the early hours of Wednesday 17 June, crews responded to the devastating fire at Warren TAFE.

Firefighters from Fire and Rescue NSW Station 491 Warren worked alongside Trangie NSW Fire & Rescue 465 Station Fire and Rescue NSW Station 300 Gilgandra Fire and Rescue NSW Station 312 Gulgong Warren HQ Rural Fire Brigade (Rehab Van), Fire and Rescue Hazmat, NSW Rural Fire Service crews, NSW Ambulance, NSW Police Force, and Essential Energy.

We thank all personnel involved for their dedication, professionalism, and teamwork throughout this challenging incident.

For many in our community, Warren TAFE was more than a building. It holds cherished memories for generations of local families who attended kindergarten and Years 1 and 2 within its walls. Its loss will be deeply felt across the community.

Our thoughts are with everyone affected during this difficult time.
