This is Rosie! Rosie is currently a Coordinator and Allied Health Assistant at Mpower, and her journey in early childhood education has been shaped by a genuine passion for seeing children grow and thrive. Over the past eight years, she has been inspired by the magic of watching children build confidence, reach milestones, and discover the world around them, a passion that led her to begin studying a Bachelor of Early Childhood Education to deepen her knowledge of child development.
A standout moment in Rosie’s journey was her placement at North Edge Early Learning (NEEL), where collaboration was at the heart of everything. Working alongside experienced educators and sharing insights from the therapy services team, Rosie found the experience incredibly rewarding. It was a space where learning went both ways, and that sense of teamwork left a lasting impact.
In her current role, Rosie works closely with speech therapists, early intervention teachers, behaviour practitioners, and occupational therapists. This hands-on experience has strengthened her ability to support each child’s individual needs and apply tailored strategies to help them achieve their goals, skills that will continue to support her future in teaching.
While balancing work and study can be challenging, Rosie stays focused by being organised, maintaining a strong routine, and keeping her long-term goals in sight, proving that dedication and determination truly pay off.
