💯 The 100 Club!

Over the last couple of weeks we have been celebrating our Year 11 and 12 students who achieved 100% for Attitude and Effort in at least one subject.

This is an outstanding achievement and a reflection of the dedication, consistency and commitment these students bring to their learning every day. We are incredibly proud of their efforts, with a clear link between strong attitude and effort, academic success, and personal growth.

Congratulations to all students recognised in the 100 Club — keep up the fantastic work!

AFLW Inspiration Hits Warrnambool College!
We were thrilled to welcome the Geelong AFLW team to Warrnambool College for a Q&A session followed by a kick-to-kick with our SPP and Football Academy students.
Our students asked thoughtful questions, with players sharing valuable insights around preparation, performance, and recovery at an elite level. The kick-to-kick session was a real highlight, giving students the chance to connect in smaller groups, continue conversations, and learn directly from the players.
To top it off, the players kindly signed a jumper and presented it to our students – it is now proudly displayed in the front office!
Thank you to the Geelong AFLW players for your time, generosity, and for inspiring our students both on and off the field.

Student Talent Shines at Portrait Artist of the Hour!
The Warrnibald provided a fantastic platform to showcase the incredible talent of students from Warrnambool College during the ‘Portrait Artist of the Hour’ event, both as sitters and artists.
Meekah Merriman was the morning model, with students working diligently to capture her likeness through a diverse range of mediums and artistic styles. Congratulations to Lucy Shanley and Ari Kershaw, who were selected as the successful artists by David Higgins.
In the afternoon session, Year 8 student Chey Nelson took on the role of model and was beautifully captured by former student Carly McConnell, alongside talented community members.
A special thank you to Anthea Rafferty, in her role with GreenPrint Projects, for organising this inspiring event and providing such a unique and valuable creative experience for students.
