The school holidays are almost here, and we’ve been busy putting together a fun-filled program for local children and families! 💛

From creative activities and hands-on fun to games, making, exploring and plenty of holiday laughs, there’s something for children of different ages and interests.

Our Potter Group got creative this week and made some wonderful little treats for our feathered friends!

The group covered pine cones in peanut butter, rolled them in bird seed, and then hung them up in the trees ready for the local birds to enjoy. 🐦💚

A simple, hands-on activity that’s great for getting creative while connecting with nature! 🌳✨

We hope they love their new hamper of goodies! 💚

We’re proud to share the impact of our Rustle Up program and the stories of change behind it. 💜

What started as a food relief initiative grew into something much more.
Helping community members build confidence, practical cooking skills, food literacy and stronger connections.

Across the program, Rustle Up supported 231 community members, distributed 80 pantry packs, delivered 24 cooking sessions and provided 101 community meals, with the incredible support of our volunteers.

Most importantly, we heard stories of people cooking more often, trying new foods, reducing food waste, planning meals and feeling more confident making healthy meals for their families. ❤️

The stories shared in this poster show how food relief delivered with dignity, practical education and support can create lasting change beyond the dinner table.

A huge thank you to everyone who participated, volunteered, supported and contributed to Rustle Up. And thank you to the Department of Families, Fairness and Housing (DFFH) for funding the program through the Community Food Relief Program.

Thanks to everyone who contributed to our first Bring Your Bills Day!

Bringing together experts from the Salvos, Meli, Centrelink, Victoria Legal Aid, St Vincent de Paul, Beyond Bank, Wannon Water and Warrnambool City Council was a really exciting experience.

This hands-on workshop is a great opportunity to choose from a beautiful range of fabrics, create your own lampshade, and leave with a completed desk lamp to take home. 🏡💜
