Statewide Recycling Services is also proud to be Warrnambool’s permanent drop-off site for paint, household batteries and compact fluorescent lamps & globes (all fluoro lights) which can be disposed of for free all year round at the Warrnambool permanent drop-off site located at the Statewide Recycling Services transfer station at 355 Koroit Street, Warrnambool. Collected items are recycled for recovery and diverted from landfill. The program is administered by Sustainability Victoria in collaboration with local councils and is funded by the Victorian landfill levy. At this stage, the free service is available to households only. Businesses can contact Statewide Recycling Services for disposal of their commercial waste.
