🚫 SUSPENSION of PERMITS to BURN in the following areas-
Brisbane Valley District including the LGA’s of Logan City Council, Ipswich City Council, Scenic Rim Region, Somerset Region and Lockyer Valley.🔥

🚫 This is in effect as from
0001hrs Saturday 26th September 2026 -
2359hrs Friday 23rd October 2026.

🚫 Permit Holder's MUST NOT light fires under a permit during the suspension period.

🚫 Fires that are lit under a notification are still permitted at the time and this includes those under 2mts that do not require a permit to light fires

💛 Yellow Ribbon Day 💛

Being part of a local fire brigade is about more than responding when the call comes through.

It’s the early mornings, late nights, challenging incidents, difficult decisions and moments that can stay with you long after the trucks return to station.

But above all, it’s about people.

At Chambers Flat Rural Fire Brigade, our members give their time to protect the community we live in and call home. We turn up for our neighbours, support each other and step up when our community needs us most.

Today, we recognise and thank every member for their commitment, dedication and the sacrifices they make.

And to the families who stand behind them — thank you. Thank you for letting them leave the dinner table, get out of bed at all hours and walk out the door when the community calls. Thank you for the missed family time, the late nights and, sometimes, the worry while you wait for them to come home. Your support, understanding and strength are a huge part of what makes our members able to do what they do.

To our community, thank you for always supporting us. We’re proud to serve the place we call home.

The Fire Warden has advised that no Fire Permits will be issued until we receive substantial rain.

WE NEED YOUR HELP!

Our Rural Fire Brigade has recently been broken into, and the person responsible has caused some damage to our property, as well as stolen one of our air-conditioning units.

We are now asking for the community's help. If you recognise the person in the photos below, have seen anything suspicious, or have information about the break-in, please contact Logan Village Police immediately.

🎄 Santa Run is Back!🎄

We're excited to announce that the Santa Run is on again this year in Chambers Flat! 🎅🚒🍬

Santa and our volunteers will be heading out through Chambers Flat on Christmas Eve, spreading some festive cheer and smiles to our local kids and families.

📍 Routes will be released later next week, so keep an eye on our page and make sure you’re ready when we roll through your street or park.

Have the kids listening out, and your Christmas spirit switched on — we can’t wait to see you all! ❤️🎄
