Head of Corps for RA Sigs.

In their centenary year Signallers are reflecting on 100 years of using the latest technology to keep our soldiers connected in conflict.

Wireless communications were an emerging technology during World War 1 and pigeons were used to send messages to and from the front.

In 1942, 13,500 birds were donated to the newly created Australian Corps of Signals Pigeon Service.

Well done to DFSS-MCISW!
