A new men’s shed has opened in Pennington, dedicated to the memory of Jeffrey Wright, who tragically lost his life in a fall from height at work.

Advocated for by Mr Wright’s family, the shed will provide a fully equipped workshop for up to 60 local participants – creating a lasting legacy that supports the community.

Why not dream small? 😉

Safety projects don’t need to be big to have a lasting impact. The Augusta Zadow Awards offer grants for solutions that benefit women and young workers.

There’s no minimum amount to apply for, because we know even a few hundred dollars can go a long way to improving safety in your community.

Looking for ideas?

✅ Create a video with your class about the importance of safety at school and share it with your community

✅ Develop a program to help young women get into a trade

✅ Start a project encouraging workers to get outdoors for fresh air and exercise
