Wembley Downs Primary School P&C Wembley Downs Primary School P&C Association

Wembley Downs Primary School P&C is an active group of parents who are passionate about playing a supportive role in their child's schooling life. Through parent and community involvement, we organise events to raise funds that help support our students, administration and our teachers. In the spirit of reconciliation, WDPS P&C acknowledges the Whadjuk people of the Noongar nation as the traditio

nal custodians of this country and its waters and that WDPS stands on Noongar country. We pay our respect to their Elders past and present and extend that respect to all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples today.

Well done to all students who participated in today’s Cross Country event. Excellent sportsmanship shown by the big kids getting the little kids over the line with their encouragement and support!

A huge thank you to all our wonderful families who brought in greenery for our Anzac wreaths. We had such variety to choose from. Your contributions made such a difference.

We’re also so grateful to the parents who joined us on Thursday morning to create the wreaths. It was a lovely time filled with creativity, connection, and a real sense of community.

The wreaths looked absolutely beautiful at the service on Friday morning, which was a truly special and moving occasion.

Thank you for helping make it so meaningful.

🚶‍♀️🚴‍♂️ We’re looking for a Your Move Coordinator!

WDPS is on the lookout for a parent or community member to take on the role of Your Move Coordinator.

Mr George Tolev has been doing a fantastic job leading the program, but as many of the activities focus on how students get to and from school, this is a great opportunity for a parent to step in and help drive it forward from a community perspective.

There’s plenty of support available from the wider Your Move network, and it’s a rewarding way to be involved in the school: helping our kids stay active, build healthy habits, and strengthen connections within our community.

If you’re interested or would like to find out more, please get in touch with Mr Tolev or P&C President Katy Brooks.

We’d love to have you on board!
