Dear Parents & Guardians,
We have two fantastic opportunities to share from our friends at the North Melbourne Football Club that may be of interest to girls across the school community. Based on feedback from families, we know many girls are looking for ways to get involved in football, whether they're trying it for the first time or looking to further develop their skills.
Welcome to AFLW
During the school holidays, North Melbourne FC is offering a special opportunity for families to experience AFLW and connect with the game in a welcoming, family-friendly environment. We encourage you to share this opportunity with girls and families who may be interested in attending their first AFLW match. Families can register here or by scanning the QR code on the poster.
North Melbourne AFLW All-Girls Auskick & Superkick Program
North Melbourne FC and AFL Victoria are also running an exciting all-girls football program at Arden Street Oval, giving participants the chance to learn new skills, build confidence, make friends and experience football in a fun and supportive environment. The program is designed for girls aged 4-12 and includes four sessions throughout the AFLW season.
Participants will:
Train at the iconic Arden Street Oval in North Melbourne
Learn from AFL staff
Enjoy an all-girls football environment
Develop new skills and confidence
Make new friends and stay active
Experience the excitement of AFLW match day
