⚠️ This is a reminder to fish by the rules this weekend!

A Henley Beach rec fisher has been fined over $5,500 for exceeding catch limits and taking undersized King George Whiting.

During a routine inspection at West Beach, PIRSA Fisheries Officers found 47 King George Whiting on a recreational fishers vessel, far exceeding the daily limit at the time of 10, with 29 undersized fish. The majority of these fish were hidden and all fish and fishing equipment were seized.

🎣 Fishers, stay on the right side of the law: download the SA Fishing App to report suspicious activity, or call FISHWATCH: 1800 065 522.
