♣ Present research and strategies for building stronger learning relationships between school staff, families and the wider community as a way of improving outcomes

♣ Support schools to audit and acknowledge what is already being done to engage the school and wider community


♣ Help schools to ask questions such as:
How well do we know our communit

y? What do we want Community Engagement in Learning to look like in our school and the wider community? What will we do next?


♣ Challenge traditional thinking about schools, families and communities working together

♣ Support schools to strengthen school community plans to better engage families, community organisations and businesses in the learning process


♣ Facilitate reflective conversations
