DAY OF ACTION: NO DATA CENTRES IN THE WEST!

Join us on Sat 19 Sep in West Footscray for our huge Day of Action!

West Footscray residents could face up to $141 million in community costs due to the Next DC data centre, all while their CEO pulls in a renumeration package worth $112 million. That tells you all you really need to know about who is benefiting from Labor’s reckless data centres rush.

The Greens are not just calling for a moratorium on new data centres, but for existing ones to provide compensation to residents affected by the noise, pollution and falling property values.

We’ll be having a community BBQ, great speakers like Huong Truong, Britt Henderson and Elena Pereyra, and a bunch of activities like doorknocking, letterboxing and putting up signs for everyone to get involved in.

So bring your friends, bring your family, and let everyone know that, together, we can stand up to the tech billionaires and their disgusting AI data centre projects.

Footscray needs more parkland - to cool our suburb, help clean our air, and a place to relax with friends and family. Instead of selling off most of the site, the Greens are fighting for more parkland at the old Footscray hospital site.
