An ARO is an Aboriginal Community Controlled Organisations (ACCO) like Yorganop that can:
🔸 Yarn with parents, with their consent, so that the department knows where parents want their kids to live,
🔸 Provide advice to the department about cultural placements and the cultural needs of our Aboriginal kids in care,
🔸 Write and review Cultural Support Plans to help kids in care stay connected to their moort (family) and their culture.
