Basketball ACT is running a session for school clubs as well, details below.

To assist our clubs and schools continue to build their program capabilities, Basketball ACT's High-Performance Manager, Leonard King will be hosting three online Listening Sessions during June, which will be open to all BACT affiliated clubs & schools to engage.

The purpose of these sessions will be to review and shape the structure and development of both playing and coaching performance pathways moving forward.

Session times are:
- Tuesday 20 June - Northside Clubs - 6-8pm;
- Tuesday 27 June - Southside Clubs - 6-8pm;
- Thursday 29 June - School Clubs - 6-8pm.

Today is the final day of volunteers week for 2023. The theme this year has been change makers; which seems perfect for our organisation. Thankyou to all of the change makers we get to work with, who are changing parent engagement, the education landscape at both a political and school level, the parents working for parents as well as their children, the P&Fs supporting their school and their communities, and our wonderful board who tirelessly work to make change in the education space. Happy Volunteers week!

An Easter reminder!

🐰Are you celebrating Easter this year with young children?

Mini Easter eggs and sugar-coated eggs may be tempting, but they are a big choking hazard due to their shape and size.

Instead of small Easter eggs, opt for larger, hollow eggs, bunnies or bilbies. That way your little one can reduce the risk of choking, while enjoying their special Easter treat.

*While young children are at greater risk of choking, these guidelines should also be considered for other people who may have difficulty chewing or swallowing.
