We have had a few phone calls over the last couple of days asking if we are open for Calor gas refills. We are and will continue to be for those in need. All gas bottles are dropped off and stored wearing gloves. To avoid risk of transfer you are also able to pick up your own bottle. If you do require a hand getting it into your vehicle then staff will don a new pair of disposable gloves to help.
Calor will still be supplying full gas bottles during the shutdown, the only difference is that they won’t be collecting empty bottles in the interim. Due to this reason, if you require a refill, please phone ahead to check availability in the size preferred. If we do not have your preferred size we will operate a temporary swap policy. This means that you will be able to exchange one bottle for another with the same fitting, at no extra cost, and swap the bottles back when Calor resume normal operation.
Calor have a large stock of most sized bottles so this should only effect a small amount of customers.
There is no need to panic buy your gas during the lock down period. As mentioned, we are happy to operate a temporary swap facility to accommodate all.
