🚨 Many people experiencing domestic and family violence rely on a hidden phone to access safety and support services.

If you or someone you know has a hidden device, it is important to plan ahead for AusAlert community testing in June 2026.

Tests will take place in selected locations. If you are in or near a test area with a compatible mobile phone, tablet or smartwatch, your device may receive a Priority Alert. It may vibrate and play a loud, siren-like warning sound for about 10 seconds.

To avoid receiving the alert:

🔔 Turn off your mobile devices or switch them to aeroplane mode.

🔔 Leave them off until at least one hour after the test has finished.

🔔 If possible, take the device outside the home and out of earshot before turning it back on.
