The Centacare Catholic Country SA Ceduna Domestic and Family Violence (DFV) team, along with other agencies from Ceduna, recently attended training delivered by Women's Safety Services SA (WSSSA) in Ceduna. Funding was secured through a successful grant application and enabled the program to be held locally. The training was delivered by Kelly Barrett from Women’s Safety Services, who brought 26 years of experience working with victim-survivors across a range of roles.
The three-day training covered coercive control, risk assessment tools, and frameworks designed to improve service responses and reduce the risk of people falling through service gaps.
