Central Darling Shire Council Central Darling Shire is the largest Shire in NSW and yet has the smallest population.

- be comments that threaten or defame any person or organisation;
- be solicitations, advertisements, endorsements or spam; off-topic posts by a single user;
- be repetitive posts copied and pasted or duplicated by single or multiple users;
- be any other inappropriate content or comments. It is at the discretion of Central Darling Shire Council to limit comment on posts. This discretion is provided through the Digital (Web and Social Media) Policy adopted by Central Darling Shire Council on 20 May 2021. Council will post Public Notices, Items on Exhibition and Positions Vacant information on this site for the information of users. Submissions to Items on Exhibition and applications and enquiries for Positions Vacant cannot be accepted through Facebook. All enquiries or submissions should be directed to Council through the medium outlined on the associated information. Users with enquiries, comments or complaints about the management of the Central Darling Shire Council page must lodge them in writing to Council via email [email protected] or PO Box 165 Wilcannia NSW 2836.

Planning to have an event on Council property?
We value events in our Shire and want to make sure that they can proceed as planned. Because of new insurance approval requirements, all event applications must be submitted in at least 30 days before the event. Council requires all necessary paperwork for the approval process including your Event Hire Application, Risk Assessment, any Food Business documents and a copy of public liability insurance.
