Gawler Skatepark Park is rad. 40min out of RadAdelaide. Bit slippery & narrow at times. Faults aside, fun to shred: stairs, hubba, ledges, rail, hip & manny box. Peep it.

B: 6am to 8:30pm (oct-mar)
W: 7:30am to 6pm (apr-sep)

*Gates close closer to 9pm

Happy snap after taking out 1st 🥇

That’s another great comp at Gawler Skatepark down.

Congrats to my good friends Kieren Schroeter 🥈 and Steven Wild 🥉. Two of my favourite humans who couldn't deserve it more.

A big thank you to Daniel Flavel and Ross Dalaney who ran another fantastic Skate Park Leagues comp. You did amazing, especially with the time crunch.

Thank you to Rotary Club of Gawler Light who came in hot with the snags, sadly no vego option, and brought some of my fav oversized games, Guess Who, Connect 4 and not oversized, mini golf. headspace Gawler, who is new to town came and Feros Care brought the bubbles. Everything is better with bubbles. 🫧

And, finally, a big thank you to Debbie Speed from Gawler Youth for making the day far more than a competition, a day for the whole family, a day that was accessible. It was made accessible with a free BBQ, free cold water, free books, free clothes, free airbrush tattoos, free finger board arts & craft and free games. Of course nothing is free We have to invest in our community and invest in making our community events accessible. A solid investment. 🥇

Debbie, along with the Gawler Youth volunteers and the Town of Gawler staff, made all the underappreciated background logistics look seamless. Shout out to Councillor Cody Davies - Town of Gawler and James Agness MP for coming along too.

What a day.
