We are deeply saddened by the news shared today regarding a young person in our community. During times like these, processing grief, shock, or confusing emotions can feel overwhelming—and no young person has to navigate that alone.
If you or a young person you know needs a safe, welcoming space to talk, our office will be open with staff on site from 9:00am to 5:00pm every day for the rest of the week (through Friday afternoon).
Our team is here to listen, offer a supportive ear, and help process what you’re feeling. If extra support is needed, we can also connect you directly with professional grief counsellors and specialist local services.
To parents and carers:
If you are looking for guidance on how to support your young person through this difficult time or aren't sure where to turn, please reach out to us. We can help guide you toward the right resources, support strategies, and counselling options.
You don't have to carry this by yourself. Drop in during our office hours, reach out online, or call us.
