: This photograph was taken in 1965 and shows the Settler's Arms Inn at St Albans. The Inn not only provided food and drink but also lodgings and even operated as a milk bar, general store and petrol at the bowsers. A true convenience, one stop shop for local and tourists!

: Check out this iconic view of George Street, Windsor in 1879. Taken by the Government Printing Office on a tour of the district, from the intersection of Johnston Street, looking towards the Railway. On the left, in the first image is the building that later housed the Windsor & Richmond Gazette, next door to that is F. J. Mortley Boot Makers. Opposite is The Royal Exchange built by Isabella Bushell. This section of the town was razed to the ground by a massive fire in 1874. The 2nd i mage we have delved into the image and can see Dawson's grocery on the right and also Peter O'Hara's general store and Ironmongers. Far left, the white Presbyterian Church on the corner of Christie Street, cane be seen.

What else can you spot in this image?

: This is an unusual mode of transport, which obviously didn't catch on in the Hawkesbury 😅This striking image has captured a well dressed group with their pet dog in a boat, attached to a horse and cart.

It came with some donations of the local area, with a few photographs from the Tumut area and appears to be taken around the 1900s. We wondered where they may have been been headed and what stories did they carry with them?
