Cheap with fire safety risk lives!

People sometimes ask me why do you test just swap out with new cheap fire extinguishers that are being imported from China

Here is an example of cheaper range Chinese made fire extinguisher.
This unit 9.0 Dry Chemical Powder came in for testing off a CFS truck that goes off track

The bashing around caused the siphon tube to break and dislodge from the valve assemble.

When we went to fire off the unit it did not expel any Powder. So that crew would of been in a slight predicament if they were relaying on that fire extinguisher.

The unit has never been fired off or refilled , received a (level 5 service).

And the issue is you don’t know if that is the case until you open up the unit,

So when it comes to peoples lives and property cheap Asian made equipment is not always the best answer in fire safety.
