TOMORROW AT MVNS! Come between 11am and 1pm 🎃 Free lunch!

Join us this Thursday for a very special Community Place as Pathfinders hosts their annual Pumpkin Run at MVNS.

We are incredibly proud to welcome this wonderful initiative to MVNS this year. Since 2014, the Pumpkin Run has brought young people and the community together to support those doing it tough. The program not only provides fresh, locally-grown produce and meals to people in need, but also gives young people the opportunity to build connections, develop skills, and experience the pride that comes from giving back to their community.

Everyone is welcome to come along, bring a friend, enjoy a hot meal, and be part of this fantastic community event.

How amazing is this beautiful Trauma Bear created by one of our talented Community Craft members! 🧸💙

Our craft group is all about coming together, learning new skills, sharing ideas, and creating something special in a welcoming and supportive environment. This gorgeous bear is a wonderful example of what can be achieved, one stitch at a time.

Not sure if craft is your thing? Why not come along and give it a go! There’s no pressure, no experience needed, and plenty of friendly faces to help you get started.

This Thursday at Wesley Mission!

Planning ahead can help ensure your healthcare wishes are understood and respected.

and Manning Support Carers Group are hosting a FREE community information session about planning ahead and staying in control of your future health and care decisions.

Topics will include:
💙 Planning for future healthcare
💙 Talking with family and loved ones about your wishes
💙 Navigating end-of-life matters
💙 Understanding palliative care and how to access support

Two local hospital nurses will also be attending to discuss available services and answer questions from the community.

✨Don’t forget Community Place today starting at 11

Introducing Community Place at MVNS!

You may have spotted this in our “What’s On This Week” post, and we’re excited to officially announce that Community Place will be happening every Thursday from 11:00am to 1:00pm.

Community Place is all about bringing people together to connect, learn, create and have fun. Each week will offer something different, including community lunches, art and craft activities, guest speakers, community education sessions and much more. There really will be something for everyone.

And we’re kicking things off THIS THURSDAY – yes, tomorrow!

We’re starting strong with an ONA Pop-Up Art Session. We’ll provide all the art supplies you need to create a unique piece of artwork that will be donated to ONA 2026.

Come along, get creative, meet new people and be part of something special in our community.
