Today, our student leaders had the opportunity to attend the GRIP Leadership Conference! They were fully engaged throughout the day, absorbing valuable insights and inspiration from the event.

What an amazing day we had last Wednesday at the Finlayson Cup! We were thrilled to host students from the Snowgums Alliance and Dorrigo Plateau schools, and to share a day full of teamwork, friendly competition, and plenty of school spirit.

Our students shone throughout the day, and we are proud to announce that Chandler PS were crowned overall winners of the Finlayson Cup!

Our students marching also received a highly commended award for their fantastic performance. Congratulations to Bald Blair PS, who took out the Marching Champions title.

We’d like to celebrate the achievements of our students too—well done to Jaxs O'Brien for being named Senior Boy Champion, and to Rory Frizell for finishing as Junior Boy Runner Up. Your hard work and dedication made us all proud!

A huge thank you goes to our wonderful P&C, who provided a delicious lunch that everyone enjoyed. Your support helped make the day extra special.

Thank you to all the students, staff, families, and visiting schools for making the Finlayson Cup such a memorable event. We’re already looking forward to next year and another fantastic day of community and competition!

We’re excited to catch up with our friends from other small schools at Chandler next week for the annual Finlayson Cup Athletics Carnival.

As a community, we come together to honour the courage, sacrifice, and enduring spirit of the ANZACs. ANZAC Day is a special time to reflect, remember, and give thanks to those who have served and continue to serve our country.

Enjoy a wonderful day out with family and friends at the much-anticipated local battle of the villages — Wollomombi vs Hillgrove ANZAC Day cricket match, promising plenty of great action. And don’t worry about hunger — the Chandler P&C will be there with a delicious BBQ to keep you fueled throughout the day. 🌭🥤
