✨ Meet the winners of the 2026 Illawarra Images Photography Prize!

Created to celebrate and preserve the stories of our region, the competition invited the community to capture what life in Wollongong looks like today. With over 450 entries from 200 photographers, the quality, creativity and diversity of submissions made the judging process no easy task.

🍃 Come see us at Wollongong Botanic Garden this Saturday for Nature Shake!

You will find us on the Fig Lawn for Bugs & Beyond, our Sensory Play Adventure where you'll get up close to the amazing world of minibeasts. We’ll be one of many community groups out in the sunshine helping you connect with the natural environment through free and fun hands-on activities for all ages.

🎊 It’s almost time!

After several weeks of planned maintenance works, Corrimal Library is reopening on Monday 14 September.

The works will help keep the library and community centre welcoming, safe and enjoyable for our community for many years to come.

Here’s what’s coming up:

📆 Mon 14 September
Corrimal Library reopens with normal opening hours.

🎨 Mon 28 September – Fri 9 October
Spring school holiday activities will run (bookings open 14 Sept).

🧶 Mon 12 October
Adult and preschool programs return for Term 4.

⚖️ Wed 14 October
Justice of the Peace services resume.
