This week, we proudly celebrate our incredible School Administrative and Support Staff (SASS) team at FISC.

From our administration staff, front office team, library and print room support, Hospitality team, School Learning Support Officers (SLSOs), School Support Officers (SSOs) and Hub staff, every member of our team contributes to making FISC a welcoming, supportive and successful learning environment.

Your dedication, professionalism, teamwork and care make a real difference to our students, staff and community every day.

And just like that, winter is behind us and we're greeted with a beautiful spring day. The sun is shining, the flowers are beginning to bloom, and it's the perfect time to enjoy the fresh start that comes with a new season.

Book Week has officially taken over FISC — and what a day it was!

Staff and students got right into the spirit, with costumes, creativity, imagination and plenty of very impressive character transformations along the way. 🎭✨

From much-loved book characters to some seriously creative interpretations, the Library was buzzing with colour, laughs and a whole lot of Book Week spirit. 📖

It’s always one of the most fun days on the FISC calendar, and this year definitely delivered!

A big thank you to our amazing Library team for hosting the Book Week Parade and giving everyone the chance to let their imaginations run wild.

Safe to say, FISC knows how to do Book Week! 🎉📚

💜 WEAR IT PURPLE DAY at FISC! 💜

FISC turned into a purple patch today as we celebrated Wear It Purple Day and showed our support for LGBTQIA+ young people. 🌈💜

We were thrilled to welcome members of Wollongong City Council and the Wollongong Youth Centre at lunchtime, helping us spread the word about inclusion, acceptance, belonging and the importance of creating safe spaces where everyone can be themselves.

A big thank you to everyone who got involved, wore purple and helped make FISC a little brighter today! 💜
