Wolvi Hall Open Mic is on again this Friday the 4th of September. Great music, affordable food and drinks, fire drums and excellent company.
Due to the popularity of this event, we will get straight into the open mic, starting at 6.30 pm (no opening set).
The chalkboard will open for registration at 6 pm on a first-come, first-served basis (no early registrations accepted).
Free overnight camping available (off-grid, no facilities).
Thank you to everone for supporting this event and helping to make it so fantastic. See you down at the Wolvi Hall on Friday night!
P.S. We are also really excited to let everyone know that we now have an Accessible Toilet!

People/Dancers/Life Lovers....
I've got to be the worst at advertising our amazing dance night on social media ever! BUT! Our next event is happening and it's happening soon.....20TH AUGUST!!! It's our 6 month celebration session, so afterwards we can stay and have a small snack (provided by me, Krystal, the terrible advertiser) and maybe a herbal tea and a chat if you're up for it. No theme for this month, other than whatever makes you feel like getting loose! Please send your song requests in by Tuesday and PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE send this around to anyone and everyone to get the word out about the great thing that we are. I'm also open to hearing your suggestions for where we could advertise (when I get around to it 😬🤪💜).

For a special treat, The Blue Tucker Box will be serving dinner at this Friday's Open Mic. Tasty hamburgers and loaded hotdogs made to order.
We will also have a sausage sizzle for a gold coin donation.

We are looking for some extra, local volunteers for the Wolvi Stomp this year. From Thursday 15th October through to Sunday 18th October.
We ask you to do two four-hour shifts across the long weekend. In return you get your festival entry (Friday-Sunday), a camping spot (if needed), a volunteer t-shirt, our gratitude and the chance to make new friends and contribute to this wonderful community event.

Wolvi & District War Memorial Hall AGM
Tuesday 11 August -6:30pm
The AGM is a time for the hall committee and members of the community to come together and discuss the events of the previous year.
An election of office bearers will also happen. We are calling for nominations for the position of President, Secretary and Treasurer. Nominations close 6pm, August 9th, 2026. Please note, yourself and your nominee must be current members.

Hi Dancers! And those thinking about dancing in the dark 😆 below is the playlist from Thursday night's killer dance sesh, so you can see what we got down to. Thank you to both the awesome regulars and super newbies who came out to shake things loose on their own but in the company of others doing the same. It absolutely "Lights" me up to be doing this each month, immersing myself in my local community and providing this for all you dancers whether near or far.
