🚨REMAIN SAFE. SLOW DOWN. LIVES DEPEND ON IT. 🚨
Local emergency service agencies from across the Seymour area have joined forces to deliver an important message to the community: safely slow down when passing emergency service vehicles and personnel at incidents.
Every day, police, CFA, SES, Ambulance Victoria and other emergency responders work on the roadside in often dangerous conditions to keep our community safe.
A moment of care and consideration from motorists can make all the difference and help ensure everyone gets home safely.
This collaborative video highlights the importance of reducing speed and remaining alert when approaching emergency scenes. We encourage everyone to take a moment to watch, share and remember the simple message:

Leading Senior Constable Steve DIXON is now the permanent Divisional Fi****ms Officer located at the Morwell Police Station. 👮‍♂️👮‍♂️🚔🚔
Steve will oversee the LaTrobe, Baw Baw and Bass Coast areas with over 14,000 registered licence holders.
He brings a wealth of fi****ms knowledge and previous crime scene experience to the position.

Police continue to search for missing Belgrave man Evan, who was last seen on Friday 31 July.

The 24-year-old left his residence on McNicol Road around midnight.

Evan’s distinctive yellow Holden Commodore sedan was last seen on CCTV travelling east on princes Highway though Bairnsdale about 3.30am on Saturday, 1 August.

Despite a thorough investigation, Evan and his vehicle are yet-to-be located.

The Holden is bearing registration 1NY2OQ.

Anyone who sights Evan or his vehicle is urged to contact Triple Zero (000) or Lilydale Police Station on (03) 9739 2300.

It is believed Evan is travelling in a yellow Holden Commodore sedan, bearing registration 1NY2OQ.

Evan is described as Caucasian, approximately 183cm tall with brown hair and blue eyes.

Police and family have concerns for Evan’s welfare as his disappearance is completely out of character.

Investigators have released an image of Evan and his car in the hopes that someone recognises him.

Anyone who sights Evan or his vehicle is urged to call Lilydale Police Station on (03) 9739 2300.

Gregory Delaney was last seen in Geelong in 1989.

In the early hours of July 12, he left the family home with a small amount of cash, an ATM card and his driver’s licence.

He has not been seen since.

This week is National Missing Persons Week.

Time changes many things. Faces age, circumstances shift, and years pass. But for those with a missing loved one, the questions remain.

Every missing person has family and friends who continue to live with uncertainty and the hope of one day finding answers.

Warragul Police successfully recovered stolen tools from an address in Drouin yesterday valued at $2499, previously taken from Sydney Tools🔧🔨

A 45-year-old Warragul man is currently in custody and will face the Latrobe Valley Magistrates’ Court after being charged with theft.

Staff at Sydney Tools were thankful and wanted to remind the public about the importance of registering tools with manufactures to have a record of serial numbers and that engraving your tools with a name and phone number can assist in retuning items that are lost or stolen to their rightful owner.

A 26 year old male was arrested in a stolen vehicle after becoming stuck up an embankment in Jindivick on Monday 27 July.

It is alleged two males stole the vehicle in the early hours of the morning from an address in Lang Lang.
