Christmas Break Opening Hours;

We will be closed on Christmas Day

The Big Pineapple Cafe will be closed on Boxing Day however the Train, Climb the Pine & The Pine Mobile will all be open as usual. Wildlife HQ, Tree Tops & Sunshine & Sons will also be open.

We are open as usual all other days.

Hi everyone just letting you all know that due to scheduled maintenance, the train will not be running for the next three weeks. Tree Top Challenge; Wildlife HQ; Sunshine & Sons; Climb the Pine and the Pine Mobile are all operating as normal. We apologize for any inconvenience.

Hi everyone, just letting you all know that we will be closed on Good Friday and ANZAC Day, we are open on all other days and the Piney is looking fantastic after all the rain!!!!

Hi everyone, just an update, The Big Pineapple Cafe, Train, Pine Mobile and Climb the Pine will remain closed tomorrow (Monday 10th) to allow us to clean everything up prior to reopening on Tuesday. Thanks for your understanding.

Hi Everyone, just letting you know that the Train is not running tomorrow (Wednesday 12 Feb) because of a scheduled maintenance day. We will however run the Pine Mobile and Wildlife HQ will be open and is accessible by the walking path. Everything else is open as normal. Apologies for any inconvenience.

Wow, the Piney is featuring on QLD Weekender tomorrow afternoon at 5.30 on channel 7 showcasing when Liz Cantor came to the The Big Pineapple, visited Tree Top Challenge, Wildlife HQ, Sunshine & Sons & of course went for a ride on the train all as part of experiencing Sunshine Coast tourism!!! Huge thanks to Visit Sunshine Coast for organising and keeping tourism alive on the Sunny Coast!!!

As most people are aware the iconic Nut Mobile was sold off years ago but even if we still had it unfortunately we would not be able to register it under the current workplace health and safety regulations.
Soooo we decided to purchase an Eco friendly electric 14 seat buggy to once again run tours through our magical rain forest following the historic Nut Mobile route.
We are delighted to introduce the PINE MOBILE!!!!
It will leave every 30 minutes from the Kiosk and travel through the rainforest, past Sunshine & Sons (where you can be dropped off for a cheeky tasting and picked up when you are ready) driven back through the forest showcasing Tree Top Challenge before returning to the Kiosk. It is $10pp but we’ll offer a combo deal with 10% off for a train ride, Climb the Pine and the Pine Mobile tour combination for $27.
