Friends Of The Park Members are over the moon with the recent Barn Restoration. With a new Roof and the walls repaired it looks spectacular. The last week has been a interesting one with finds of how the building was made and what it once was.

Nothing makes us prouder then having people visiting our little volunteer station and share how much they enjoyed it. 4wd Pro Tips visited pondanna recently and surrounding areas we were chuffed to hear they enjoyed it and even more so when they had photos to share :)

Sometimes nature just naturally frames itself. Beauty really is in the eye of the beholder and I think I got a few beaut shots out friends of the park this weekend with 2 little buddies along for the ride. We spent the weekend at pondanna homestead doing general maintenance and clean up but we still got to go out adventure and have some fun as well.we love camping or rather Glamping when you have the lovely pondanna homestead to call base :)

Did you know that these little fellas (The Pygmy Possum) live in the park? If it wasn't for their big ears and curly tail you wouldn't notice the difference between these and the standard house mouse. Did you also know that this little fella right here is one of the many reasons why the National Parks do what they do? Our local park ranger Lindsey and his crew work tirelessly to help with revegetation of trees and shrubs to make sure these little guys have plenty of places to call home.
