We are a fully volunteer fire brigade proudly serving our community and dedicated to protecting lives and property through emergency response, fire safety education, and community engagement. We are a 100% Volunteer Fire Brigade part of the Country Fire Authority, that serves the Greater Wyndham Vale Community. Including the suburbs of Manor Lakes, Mambourin, Quandong and parts of Werribee, Eynesbury and Little River.

🔧 Shed, Garage & BBQ Fire Safety Tips

Fires can grow rapidly when items like gas cylinders, petrol cans and other chemicals are present. Reduce your risk by removing unnecessary fuels and storing essential items safely and away from heat sources.

• Store chemicals safely
Keep petrol, paints, solvents, and other chemical products in approved containers, away from ignition sources and out of reach of children.

• Dispose of unwanted chemicals correctly
If you no longer need certain chemicals, take them to a proper disposal facility. Never pour them down drains or throw them in household rubbish.

• BBQ safely by checking hoses and connections
Regularly inspect gas hoses for cracks, brittleness, or wear. Check all connections for leaks before use, a simple soapy‑water test can help identify escaping gas.

School holidays are the perfect time to practise your home fire escape plan. 🏠🚒

✅ Practise the two quickest ways out of every room.
✅ Know how you'll exit from upstairs if your home has a second storey.
✅ Have an agreed meeting place outside, like the letterbox.
✅ Know how you will you call Triple Zero (000).

On Saturday, the Wyndham Vale Fire Brigade officially opened the new fire station on Armstrong Road in Manor Lakes. It was wonderful to welcome dignitaries, current and former members, neighbouring brigades and guests to celebrate this significant milestone. 🏠🚒🎉

Our new station represents an important investment in the future of our brigade and our growing community. We look forward to continuing to serve the Wyndham Vale community for many years to come.
