Home Fire Safety Visit 🏠

What to expect:

• Firefighters will check your smoke alarms are working and in good condition.

• Ensure smoke alarms are installed in suitable areas of the home.

• Install new alarms or replace existing alarms with long-life battery-powered smoke alarm at no cost.

• Replace batteries at no cost.

• With your permission, firefighters will also ask you to show us around your home and property. This will allow us to give you personalised fire safety advice.

Hats off to our incredible Wyoming 509 team, collectively raising $4,140 and completing their Firies Climb for MND

Around 500 partıcıpants took turns tackling Katoomba’s 1,902 Furber Steps every hour for 24 hours. They joined crews from stations across the state for the challenge, taking on the steep climb as the event raised over $280,000 for MND research at Macquarie University, with the total continuing to climb.
