🫶 Massive thanks to the 𝗧𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗽 𝗧𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗽 𝗕𝘂𝘀𝗵𝗳𝗶𝗿𝗲 𝗥𝗲𝗰𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘆 𝗛𝘂𝗯 for having us — alongside the team from Agriculture Victoria — at your weekly community dinner.

It was fantastic to sit down with locals over a cuppa and some absolutely delish food (Lyn… we’re looking at you and that tiramisu 🤤).

We hope the information shared helped make pasture restoration feel a little less daunting in the bigger picture of whole-farm recovery. It’s a big road, but you don’t have to walk it alone.

And a special mention to the next generation — including young farmer Charlotte getting hands-on advice from Dr Lee from the Ag Vic team. That’s what community is all about. 💜

🌧️ Rain’s expected in some fire-affected areas of Victoria. If your farm’s at risk, now’s a great time to protect your water supply.

After fire, vegetation is gone and there’s lots of loose soil, ash, and debris on the surface. When rain hits, this material can wash into dams and waterways, carrying nutrients, bacteria, and contaminants. This reduces water quality, can harm livestock, and makes water harder to use. 💧

A simple way to help is by putting up sediment fences at inflow points. They slow runoff, letting debris and soil drop out before reaching your water.
