πŸ’› Could You Spare a Few Hours to Help a Neighbour?

MHA Care is looking for more wonderful Meals on Wheels volunteers to help deliver meals and friendly smiles across our local community.

For many of our clients, the knock on the door and a quick chat can be just as important as the meal itself. It's a chance to check in, connect, and remind someone they're not alone.

We are currently seeking volunteers for:

πŸš— Weekend meal deliveries in Cobram & Yarrawonga

πŸ“… Permanent monthly Wednesday and Thursday delivery runs in Cobram

❄️ Casual volunteers across all areas, particularly during the busy winter months

Volunteering is flexible, rewarding, and a great way to give back to your local community.

We would love to hear from you if you:
πŸ’› Enjoy helping others
😊 Love a friendly chat
πŸš— Have a driver's licence and reliable vehicle
πŸ•’ Can spare a few hours, either regularly or occasionally

Every meal delivered makes a difference.

MHA CARE Care Grinners Activity Group.

Clients have enjoyed a variety of activities over the past 6 months, shopping trips to other towns, movie days with the Cobram activity group, water aerobics at the Numurkah heated pool, and in house activities at the Nathalia Senior Citizen Centre.
Each session connects Clients to one another. This social interaction reduces loneliness, stimulates conversion, laughter and improves a sense of well-being.
Anyone seeking to join this program contact MHA Care on 5742 1111.

Last week we were proud to celebrate National Volunteer Week alongside NCN Health, Yarrawonga Health and Yarrawonga Mulwala Community Learning Centre.

This special event was held at and generously sponsored by Club Mulwala, and we are incredibly grateful for their support in helping us recognise the amazing contribution of our volunteers.

To all of our volunteers, thank you. Your time, compassion, dedication and generosity make a real difference every day. The work you do strengthens our community, supports those who need it most, and helps make our region a better place for everyone.

We are so fortunate to have such committed volunteers, and we truly appreciate everything you do.

Cobram PAG
Tuesday May 19th we held our annual Biggest Morning Tea. We had a fabulous day with around 34 clients and guests coming along to support it. We raised a fabulous amount of $502.55. It’s such a heartwarming fundraiser to run as we all know someone affected by cancer. Whether it be a family member, a friend, a neighbour or a friend of a friend. Thankyou to everyone who donated, whether small or big. Every little bit helps. We had our different ways of raising money. They included, our money trail on the floor, Guess how many snakes in the jar. A couple of games we played, Cups and Saucers and our annual Tea Tasting competition. Always so much fun. At the end of the day we sell off all the left over food for a donation. And then there were those that just wanted to donate to the cause.
Thank you to everyone who donated, helped and supported our day.
