📣 Season Closing Update 📣

A reminder to our communities that Monday 9 March will be the final day of the season for the Moira Shire outdoor pools.

Make the most of the Labour Day long weekend and enjoy one last swim before we wrap up for winter. ☀️🏊‍♂️

All outdoor pools will be open 1pm to 7pm on the day.

Thank you to everyone who swam with us, supported our teams and made it another fantastic summer across Moira. We truly appreciate our communities and look forward to welcoming you back next season. 💙

Due to the forecast cooler weather tomorrow, Monday 2 March, all Moira Shire Outdoor Pools will be closed for the day.

Unfortunately, due to unexpected staffing challenges as a result of illness today (27 February 2026), the Yarrawonga Outdoor Pool will be closed.

We understand this is late notice and sincerely apologise for the inconvenience.

If you are still looking to cool down, the splash park at the Yarrawonga Foreshore remains available.

We look forward to welcoming you back tomorrow, with the pool reopening from 1pm. Come down and enjoy a splash with us. 💦

Due to the cooler conditions forecast, all Moira Shire Outdoor Pools will be closed on Thursday 12 February.

🌞 OUTDOOR POOLS OPENING HOURS UPDATE 🌞

All outdoor pools have now reverted to school term opening hours:

🕒 Weekdays: 3.30pm – 7.00pm
🕐 Weekends & Public Holidays: 1.00pm – 7.00pm
🏊 Early morning lap swimming times remain unchanged.

🔥 On days of extreme heat, pools may extend opening hours into the evening. Extended hours are based on forecast conditions, attendance levels, and staff availability.

We’re here to help, not to be abused.

Our facilities are here for the enjoyment of the whole community, and our staff are here to help make each visit a positive one.

As part of their role, our staff may need to provide direction, intervene or address behaviour to ensure everyone can use the facility safely and respectfully. These interactions are a normal and expected part of visiting a public pool.

We welcome questions, feedback and respectful conversation. However, abusive, aggressive or disrespectful behaviour towards staff or other patrons is not acceptable in any form.

We ask that all concerns are raised calmly and constructively. Disagreement or frustration does not justify abuse.

Our team members are part of this community. They deserve to feel safe, supported and respected while doing their jobs.
