There comes a time in everyone's life to acknowledge one needs to lay the burden down. My time has come and I wish all the Councillors, both new and old, the very best for the next 4 years. I am sad I will not be part of the journey that will finally see an exceptional and long suffering staff in a work place that is worthy for their measure. To have endured the abysmal working conditions in the current Chambers is nothing short of miraculous and you all deserve the thanks of the Yass Valley community for your fortitude, not the malice you so often receive. My community service is not over but my time on Council is done. Thanks you to everyone who voted me in and supported me over my 12 odd years as a Councillor. I have tried to be true to myself and you in all the decisions made in that time. This site will now be unattended!!
