Following the wonderful Mother & Mother Figure event last term, we are excited to continue these special opportunities for our Year 7 & 8 students to celebrate and connect with the important people in their lives.
Our students have been busy writing their very own special invitations to their Fathers and Father Figures. There’s something particularly special about receiving an invitation written by your child, a little reminder of how much these moments of connection can mean. This evening is about quality time, shared experiences, conversation and creating memories together. It’s an opportunity for our students to spend meaningful time with the people who support, encourage and guide them, and to celebrate those special relationships. We understand that every family is unique and that not all families look the same, so this event is for Fathers and Father Figures who play an important role in the lives of our Year 7 & 8 students.

Yr 12’s bring anything but a bag day 🤩

Congratulations to our student leaders for running the fundraiser for Ebony and Diesel on Friday. The school community enjoyed a BBQ lunch and a surprise visit from Diesel 🐴. Students competed in the longest kick and found hidden football tokens around the school to win some cool prizes. $300 was raised to help go towards some of the costs involved for Ebony and Diesel to compete in the Australian Interschool Championships, representing Yea High School. Best of luck Ebony and Diesel ☘️

Boating Victoria in partnership with the Eildon Houseboat Association and the Central Ranges LLEN hosted VCE VM students from Yea High School at an industry emersion day at Lake Eildon.
Students were exposed to boat building, marine automotive, tourism and hospitality industries.
The LLEN provided transport free of charge and Boating Victoria and the Eildon Houseboat association provided lunch for students and staff on one of their houseboats. Central Ranges Local Learning and Employment Network

This Friday, students and staff will be enjoying Footy Colours Day in support of Year 12 student Ebony and her horse Diesel, who will be competing on behalf of Yea High School in the Australian Interschool Championships during the school holidays. We hope to raise money to assist Ebony and Diesel with some of the costs associated with competing. A big shout-out to Dindi Ag for coming on board with horse feed for Diesel. For anyone else wishing to support Ebony and Diesel, please feel free to contact the school office on 57972207.
