Over the past few days our Yeodene firefighters have joined several other brigades to help fight the fires in Gellibrand. It’s incredible to see how many brigades from all over Victoria, despite the heat, came to help fight these fires and protect people’s homes.

Since Monday, Yeodene firefighters Michael and Mick have been out on strike teams all over Carlisle River helping contain the fires. RIP to the tanker side mirror that was melted by the flames.

Over the weekend our firefighters headed out on strike teams to Skipton, Carlisle River and Gellibrand. Big shoutout to Mick, Justin, Christine, Michael S, Michael D, Scott and Hugh for all their efforts.
