Congratulations to Jaydan Mirtschin (pictured with the drip torch) for completing his General Firefighter Course (GFF) recently at the Penshurst. Jaydan is the first member of our brigade to go through the GFF pathway. The BMT thank him for working with the brigade as this was a learning experience for us as well. If you've ever thought about Volunteering with CFA, Yulecart is always looking for members and it's never too late to join, so don't hesitate to reach out to us.

Great to have everyone along tonight and what a great evening!

Huge thanks to our SES volunteers for showing us how it was done. They showed the complicated procedure of cutting open a car and demonstrating a rescue. Their attention to detail is outstanding and dedication to safety was not compromised.

It was great to have many other brigades join us tonight with well over 30+ people where in attendance.

Special thanks to our captain and MC for putting the night together. Great stuff John!

Hope everyone enjoyed the BBQ and had a great night.

Community Notice Update! Due to external factors outside the brigades control, the planned roadside burn for this Saturday the 28th has been canceled. The Captain and BMT sincerely thank our members and neighbouring brigades who for putting up crews to assist with the day. We will place another notice here when we're permitted to burn again.

It was great to be able to host the team from the District 5 Headquarters Brigade to demonstrate the rehab support service, what they do, the equipment they have and how it all works. The rehab support is just another example of the diverse roles available to CFA (Country Fire Authority) volunteers. It’s a fantastic resource to have available within the Dundas Group and surrounding districts.

Glad to be of help SES Hamilton Unit. Given the hot and dry weather and the tree being not far from our shed, it was great being able to work together to keep the scene safe.
