Celebrating culture and talent at Evrika School in Baku
🌍✨ On 15 May, during the International Day of Evrika School, students amazed everyone with spectacular dance and music performances representing different countries around the world.
We are extremely proud of the Hungary stand, which was a huge success. The students of 7E class dressed in authentic, traditional Hungarian attire and presented our country’s rich history, culture, science, and sports achievements. Visitors also enjoyed delicious, authentic Hungarian pastries made with love and parents’ support. Thank you to everyone who made this day unforgettable! 🇭🇺🎉

Dünən Macarıstanın yeni hökuməti rəsmi olaraq formalaşdırılıb. Prezident tərəfindən rəsmi təyinatlardan sonra yeni kabinet üzvləri Parlamentdə and içiblər. Baş nazir Peter Madyarın rəhbərliyi ilə yeni təyin olunmuş kabinet dərhal vəzifəsinin icrasına başlayıb. Xarici İşlər Nazirliyinə hazırda həm də Baş nazirin müavini vəzifəsini icra edən Anita Orban rəhbərlik edir.

Tegnap hivatalosan is megalakult Magyarország új kormánya. Miután a miniszterjelöltek megkapták kinevezésüket a köztársasági elnöktől, a Parlamentben ünnepélyes keretek között letették a miniszteri esküt az új kormány tagjai. Magyar Péter miniszterelnök vezetésével az új kabinet azonnal megkezdte a munkát. A Külügyminisztérium vezetését Orbán Anita vette át, aki egyben a kormány miniszterelnök-helyettesi posztját is betölti.

Yesterday, Hungary’s new government was officially formed. Following their formal appointments by the President, the members of the new cabinet took their oaths in the Parliament. Led by Prime Minister Péter Magyar, the newly appointed cabinet immediately assumed office. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs is now led by Anita Orbán, who also serves as Deputy Prime Minister.

🇭🇺On May 9, 2026 Hungary’s new National Assembly held its inaugural session.
The National Assembly elected Péter Magyar, president of TISZA, as head of government, making him Hungary’s 60th prime minister.
On May 11 hearings for ministerial candidates began at the parliamentary committees. At the end of this process Hungary’s new government will be formed with 16 ministries.

🇭🇺2026. május 9-én megtartotta alakuló ülését Magyarország új Országgyűlése.
Az Országgyűlés megválasztotta kormányfőnek Magyar Pétert, a TISZA elnökét, aki Magyarország 60. miniszterelnöke lett.
Május 11-én megkezdődtek a miniszterjelölti meghallgatások a parlamenti bizottságok előtt. A folyamat végén megalakul Magyarország új kormánya, amely 16 minisztériummal kezdi meg működését.

Tamás Torma, Ambassador of Hungary in Azerbaijan, Prof. Dr. Zoltán Bujdosó, Vice Rector of the Hungarian University of Agriculture and Life Sciences (MATE) and Mr. László Örlős, Operative Director of the Drought Prevention Institute visited the 19th Caspian Agro International Agriculture Exhibition and Forum. Professor Bujdosó participated the conference on „Contemporary Agricultural Cooperation as a Foundation of Sustainable Development and Guarantor for Food Security” organized by the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Azerbaijan. During the visit Ambassador Tamás Torma and Vice Rector Zoltán Bujdosó conducted fruitful discussions with Mr. Zaur Aliyev, Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Mr. Hasan Hasanli, Deputy Minister of Science and Education to build strong educational collaboration between MATE University and the Azerbaijan State Agricultural University.

The Ministry of Health of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the Azerbaijan Pharmaceutical Manufacturers Association and the Embassy of Hungary in Baku jointly organized the 2nd International Conference on Azerbaijan Pharmaceutical Industry on 4th May 2026 in the Heydar Aliyev Center.

The conference addressed topics that are of key importance for the sector today, notably localization of pharmaceutical manufacturing, digitalization and AI transformation in healthcare and pharma industry. The conference convened prominent healthcare and pharma industry stakeholders from Azerbaijan, Hungary, Türkiye, Uzbekistan, and Kazakhstan as well as the Advisor of the WHO Regional Office for Europe.

Azərbaycan Respublikası Səhiyyə Nazirliyi, Azərbaycan Əczaçılıq İstehsalçıları Assosiasiyası və Macarıstanın Azərbaycandakı Səfirliyi tərəfindən birgə təşkil olunmuş Azərbaycan Əczaçılıq Sənayesi üzrə 2-ci Beynəlxalq Konfrans 4 may 2026-cı il tarixində Heydər Əliyev Mərkəzində keçirilmişdir.

Konfransda sektor üçün bu gün xüsusi əhəmiyyət kəsb edən mövzular, o cümlədən əczaçılıq istehsalının lokallaşdırılması, səhiyyə və əczaçılıq sənayesində rəqəmsallaşdırma və süni intellekt transformasiyası müzakirə edilmişdir. Konfransda Azərbaycan, Macarıstan, Türkiyə, Özbəkistan və Qazaxıstandan olan tanınmış səhiyyə və əczaçılıq sənayesi tərəfdaşları, həmçinin Ümumdünya Səhiyyə Təşkilatının Avropa üzrə Regional Bürosunun müşaviri iştirak etmişlər.

Azerbajdzsán Egészségügyi Minisztériuma, az Azerbajdzsáni Gyógyszergyártók Szövetsége és a Bakui Magyar Nagykövetség közös szervezésében 2026. május 4-én, immár második alkalommal került sor nemzetközi gyógyszeripari konferenciára a bakui Heydar Aliyev Központban.

A konferencia középpontjában a gyógyszeripari lokalizáció, egészségügyi és gyógyszeripari digitalizáció, valamint a mesterséges intelligencia alkalmazhatóságának napjainkban kulcsfontosságú kérdései álltak. A rendezvényen az azerbajdzsáni, magyar, török, üzbég és kazah egészségügy és gyógyszeripar prominens képviselői és a WHO Európai Regionális Igazgatóságának tanácsadója szólaltak fel.

BME Delegation Visits ADA University 🇭🇺🇦🇿
The delegation from the Budapest University of Technology and Economics (BME), led by its Rector Hassan Charaf, was warmly received by Ambassador Hafiz Pashayev, Rector of ADA University, alongside the university’s vice-rectors and senior leadership.
The meeting provided a platform for a valuable exchange of ideas, focusing on the vast potential for future collaboration between the institutions. As a concrete next step, plans are already in motion for a professional visit by the ADA team to BME's campus in Budapest.

The Hungarian delegation expressed high praise for ADA University, highlighting:
✅ The world-class infrastructure of the campus.
✅ ADA’s special role in the Azerbaijani academic landscape.
✅ The vibrant and inspiring student life observed during the visit.

BME Delegation Visits Baku Higher Oil School 🇭🇺🇦🇿
On April 14, Elmar Gasimov, Rector of Baku Higher Oil School (BHOS) hosted a high-level delegation from the Budapest University of Technology and Economics (BME).

During the visit the Hungarian delegation took a comprehensive tour of the modern campus and facilities. A particularly special moment occurred when BME’s Rector, Charaf Hassan, met with one of BUOS’ instructors who had previously studied at BME, highlighting the deep personal and professional connections already existing between the institutions. 🤝

The two delegations reviewed several key areas for future cooperation. While BME boasts a long and prestigious history as one of the world's oldest institutes of technology (founded in 1782), BHOS represents the dynamic energy of a young and rapidly growing university.

Aprelin 14-də Bakı Ali Neft Məktəbinin (BANM) rektoru Elmar Qasımov Budapeşt Texnologiya və İqtisadiyyat Universitetinin (BME) yüksək səviyyəli nümayəndə heyətini qəbul edib.

Səfər zamanı Macarıstan nümayəndə heyəti müasir kampusun imkanları və infrastruktur obyektləri ilə yaxından tanış olub. Görüşün ən yadda qalan məqamlarından biri BME-nin rektoru Charaf Hassanın əvvəllər bu universitetdə təhsil almış BANM-in müəllimlərindən biri ilə görüşməsi olub. Bu hadisə hər iki müəssisə arasında mövcud olan dərin şəxsi və peşəkar əlaqələri bir daha vurğulayıb. 🤝

Tərəflər gələcək əməkdaşlığın bir neçə əsas istiqamətini nəzərdən keçiriblər.
