The Barbados National Energy Company Ltd. (BNECL) – Natural Gas, would like to advise the public that maintenance work which was scheduled for Tuesday, November 18 on St. Lawrence Gap, Dover, Christ Church, will now take place on Wednesday, November 19, from 10pm to 4am on Thursday, November 20, 2025, providing the weather conditions are favorable.

As a result, customers may experience low to no gas pressure in Calais Drive, Dover and surrounding areas.  Persons may also experience the scent of gas during the period of work.

UPDATE - The National Petroleum Corporation is pleased to report that the maintenance works in Whitepark Road, St. Michael have been completed and that gas pressure to the surrounding areas has been restored.

The National Petroleum Corporation would like to advise the public that urgent maintenance works will be conducted on Whitepark Road, St. Michael today, Wednesday, October 29 from 5:00 pm to 12:00 am.

As a result, customers may experience low to no gas pressure on Whitepark Road, Gills Road, Kings Street, Alleynes Court and surrounding areas . Persons may also experience the scent of gas during the period of works.

There will also be restricted single lane access from the Country Road Traffic lights to the Four Cross Junction on Gills Road during this period and drivers are asked to use an alternative route if possible.
