Christ Church Foundation School

21/09/2026

Yesterday, Christ Church Foundation School began its inaugural Foundation Week in a spirit of worship, gratitude and reflection at Christ Church Parish Church.

We sincerely thank The Rev. Mark D. Harewood and the church community for welcoming us and for offering a special blessing over our school, students, staff and the week ahead.

Student, Jiah Bradshaw-Simpson, delivered the reading with confidence and poise, representing the next generation of Foundation students building upon the rich legacy of those who came before them.

Joining us were the Honourable Chad Blackman, Minister of Educational Transformation, Head of the Senate Mr Reginald Farley, distinguished old scholar and West Indies cricket legend Joel Garner, former Chair of the Board and old scholar Suzanne King, Principal (Ag.) Shawn Forde, Deputy Principal Natalie Gilkes, staff and students.

As Foundation Week begins, we honour our history, celebrate our present and look forward with purpose to the legacy still being written.
