Tonio Thelstone Garnes, who was the subject of a “Wanted Man” bulletin, issued on Thursday, 12th June 2026, in connection with serious criminal matters, is now in police custody.

On Thursday 12th June 2026, he presented himself to District ‘B’ Police Station and is currently assisting police personnel with their investigations.

The Barbados Police Service is seeking the assistance of the general public in locating Tonio Thelstone Garnes alias ‘Blacka or Darkman’ who is wanted for questioning in connection with serious criminal matters.

Garnes, whose last known address is King William Street, St Michael is approximately five feet ten inches (5’ 10”) in height of a dark complexion and slim built. He has a tattoo of a firearm on his right bicep, and the word 'Nickolett' on the right side of his neck.

Tonio Thelstone Garnes is advised that he can present himself to the Criminal Investigations Department at the Oistins Police Station accompanied by an attorney-at-law of his choice.

Any person, who may know the whereabouts of Tonio Thelstone Garnes is asked to contact the Criminal Investigations Department at the Oistins Police Station, Oistins, Christ Church at telephone numbers 418-2609 or 418-2612, Police Emergency at 211, Crime Stoppers at 1 800-8477 or the nearest police station.

Members of the public are also reminded that it is a serious offence to harbour or assist wanted persons; any person caught committing this offence can be prosecuted.

The Barbados Police Service (TBPS) is asking that the following persons attend District ‘B’ Magistrates’ Court, Eric Holder Jr Municipal Complex, Bowling Alley Hill (Horse Hill), St. Joseph on Wednesday, 17th June 2026 at 9:00 a.m.

The Police at District ‘A’ Station are conducting investigations into a fatal collision, which occurred about 11:15 pm on Monday 8th June 2026, along Codrington Road, St. Michael, involving two motor vans.

CIRCUMSTANCES:
Initial investigations have shown that the vehicles were travelling in opposite directions when a collision occurred. Ambulance personnel responded and examined the body of a male driver but found no signs of life. A medical doctor visited the scene, examined the body and pronounced death. A male who was driving the second vehicle complained of minor injuries. Investigations are continuing into this matter.

The deceased has been identified by a relative as Juon Aloysius Heywood, 55 years of Upper Durants Village, Holders Hill, St. James.

We are appealing to anyone who may have witnessed this collision to please contact the District ‘A’ Police Station at 430-7242 or 430-7246.

The police at Central Station are conducting investigations into a stabbing which occurred about 5: 45 pm, on Monday 8th June 2026 at the junction of Nelson Street and Fairchild Street, Bridgetown, St. Michael.

CIRCUMSTANCES:
Initial investigations have shown that there was a dispute between a male and a female resulting in the female receiving multiple stab wounds. The victim was transported to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital (QEH) by ambulance personnel, where she is currently receiving medical attention. A suspect is in police custody assisting with the investigations.

The Barbados Police Service is seeking the assistance of the general public in locating Dwayne Marlon Drakes alias ‘Oily’ who is wanted for questioning in connection with serious criminal matters.

Drakes, whose last known addresses are Denny Road, Thorpes, St. James and 1st Avenue, Park Road, Bush Hall, St. Michael, is approximately five feet seven inches (5’ 7”) in height, of a dark complexion and a slim built. He has a scar on the right side of his forehead, a tattoo with the words ‘for the wages of sin is death’ on his left hand and the image of a cross on the right hand.

Dwayne Marlon Drakes is advised that he can present himself to the Criminal Investigations Department at the Black Rock Police Station, President Kennedy Drive, St. Michael, accompanied by an attorney-at-law of his choice.

Any person, who may know the whereabouts of Dwayne Marlon Drakes, is asked to contact the Criminal Investigations Department at the Black Rock Police Station at telephone numbers 417-7505 or 417-7500, Police Emergency at 211, Crime Stoppers at 1 800-8477 or the nearest police station.
