The Fair Trading Commission joins the Government and people of Barbados in mourning the passing of our National Hero, the Right Excellent Sir Garfield Sobers.

Sir Garry was more than the world’s greatest all-round cricketer - he was a symbol of excellence, humility, and Barbadian pride. His remarkable achievements inspired generations to believe that greatness can emerge from our small island and leave an indelible mark on the world.

We extend our deepest condolences to his family, loved ones, and all Barbadians as we honour a life of extraordinary service, achievement and national pride.

Rest in eternal peace, Sir Garry. Your legacy will live on forever.
