VACANCY!
The Corporation invites applications from suitably qualified and experienced individuals for the position of Supervisor, Carmeta’s Retail Store.
KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS
• Oversee inventory receiving, verification, stock control, and coordination of stock-taking activities.
• Ensure consistent availability and merchandising of product, including promotions and high-value items.
• Deliver excellent customer service by handling orders, queries, complaints, and cashier duties.
• Supervise retail staff, manage schedules, and support performance management processes.
• Maintain accurate administrative and financial records, including point-of-sale reconciliation, reporting, and compliance with safety standards.
CORE COMPETENCIES
• Possess strong leadership, team management, and organizational skills.
• Good knowledge of retail industry practices.
• Excellent communication, numeracy, and analytical skills.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and Point-of-Sale (POS) systems
QUALIFICATIONS: EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
An Associate Degree with a minimum of three (3) years’ relevant work experience, including at least two (2) years at a supervisory level.
OR
Five (5) CXC General Proficiency Certificates, including English Language and Mathematics, with a minimum of five (5) years’ relevant work experience, including at least two (2) years at a supervisory level.
